DTNBZN NEWS
The Downtown Bozeman Partnership is thrilled to announce the selection of three exceptionally talented artists for the highly anticipated Downtown Bozeman Alley Enhancement Project. This transformative initiative aims to invigorate our vibrant downtown district with a captivating fusion of art, culture, and community.
The project attracted an impressive array of submissions from artists, showcasing their creativity and ingenuity. After careful consideration, our panel of judges have chosen three exceptional artists who stood out with their visionary concepts and unique artistic styles.
Introducing the extraordinary artists who will bring their brilliance to life through captivating art installations in our downtown alleys: Kelsey Anne Clark, Kelsey Dzintars, and Stella Nall.
The Downtown Bozeman Alley Enhancement Project aims to nurture a space where art becomes an integral part of our everyday lives. The theme for this alley is “Adventure and Exploration” and is described in the 2020 Bozeman Alleyways Report: “Bozeman is a city that is rooted in adventure and exploration, and continues to thrive on access to mountains, rivers, and open space for recreational purposes. The buildings… tell a story of entrepreneurship, adventures, and the voices of past historical events. The parking garage, Streamline Bus Station, and future bike facilities on N. Black Ave. continue the theme of transportation and exploration into the wilderness surrounding Bozeman” (2020 Bozeman Alleyways Report, Page 8).
As the project progresses, the chosen artists will work closely with our team and selected contractor through the installation process. Their art will create a lasting impact, enticing locals and tourists to explore and engage with our vibrant community. Downtown Bozeman Alley Enhancement project is currently out for bid now through the City of Bozeman and on behalf of the Downtown Bozeman Partnership. Bids are due THIS Thursday 6/22 by 4pm.
We invite you to stay tuned for further updates as we embark on this exciting project!
